Risley hall Hotel a grade two listed building, nestling within the small village of Risley, Derbyshire, has impressive gardens and a unique heritage. Formerly a Saxon manor with a history dating back to the 11th Century.
Risley Hall is licensed to hold civil marriages in the magnificent Baronial Hall which has been returned to its original splendour, providing a wonderfully romantic atmosphere in which a couple can exchange their vows.
There are 16 en suite letting bedrooms to the main hotel. Each of the rooms have colour TV, coffee and tea making facilities and some providing stunning views to the surrounding gardens.
A fine selection of freshly made sandwiches with homemade cakes and tartlets served with tea & coffee served in the garden, orangery or the drawing room.

Risley Hall Hotel offers two standards of accommodation. The manor house with 16 individually styled room or Willoughby court each room contains a spacious relaxing lounge and is set within the privacy of a courtyard.
Travelling along the M1 Motorway, take junction 25 sign posted for A52 Nottingham/Derby. Continue for around 0.25 mile and at the roundabout take the fifth turning into Bostock Lane. Proceed for a further 0.5 mile turning left onto Derby Room (B5010) and then for a further 0.5 mile locating Risley Hall on the right and side.
Leading from the Manor House on the ground floor, the Baronial Hall with its minstrel’s gallery makes an ideal setting for weddings and banquets. It is the largest of our conference suites seating up to 110 delegates theatre-style.
The Vine Room is situated on the ground floor overlooking the quiet and historic courtyard.
Risley Hall is an 11th Century Saxon country house set in 17 acres of private landscaped grounds. Within the hotel is the 16th Century Baronial Hall, which has been tastefully restored to provide an area of great charm and character.

The hotel is set within around 17 acres grounds and is centred around the pretty courtyard with manicured lawns, neatly trimmed hedges and colour landscape borders.
